Hi Everyone! I wanted to share this with you.


 Final Semester Grades are based on these parameters

• Attendance 10% ( only if you didn’t miss more than the allowed two absences without a written excuse)

•Self Portraits 10%

•Sketchbook 10%
             *Sketchbook shows effort on the part of student to improve and expand abilities and thought process.

•Shakespeare 15%

•Traveler  15%

Historic Portraits  10%

Expressions 10%

Effort  30%
    * Quality of finished work is improving over the semester. Attempts to improve, follow directions/specs, gather reference, and ability to take, internalize and act upon criticism of work will be factored highly here.



**I reserve the right to add importance to one or another project if the student did exceptionally well with that particular assignment. I will not penalize students for pieces that died on the vine unless the effort and follow-through were lacking.

Assignments
The individual assignment grades will be considered in the following ways:

Following Process of illustration( using correct specs, thumbnails, gathering reference, color comps, research)
Content of Illustration follows Intent of project
Quality of finished work( Composition, Color, Drawing)

Non of this should be particularly new considering it was pretty much written out in the syllabus.
