Important! Class This week and tomorrow are vital classes. this week is the crit for the final Midsummer Nights Dream piece and next week is our in-class Final crit.
The Final Critique will happen on the last day of class December 6th. I will be handing back all the artwork from the semester this week in preparation for that day.
Think of our Final critique as a dry run for what will be expected of you on the 10th of December for the Faculty Review.
The following is a list of the pieces needed for a full portfolio review.
Self portrait
Animal Portrait final and Transformation Portraits
Historical Portraits 2 b/w and one color piece
12 expressions portraits
The Traveler: One finished color piece
Midsummer Nights: 2 black and white
One color piece
Sketchbooks
Treat these as a portfolio, all images should have a border around them, if they don't,
mount them. All images need a flap for protection and a name on the back.
Have all images brought up to a professional quality finish.
Remember, in real life you don’t get C’s, if the work isn’t up to professional snuff, you won’t get hired again.
Now is the time to bring your best game! I look forward to seeing your work! Be here at the beginning of class ready to look at and talk about each others work!
IF you need any information about the assignments from this semester, look at the pages on the blog for each assignment.
